Since 2001, I have been flying in the Pacific-Northwest out of the Portland, Oregon area. I am an FAA Certified Flight Instructor specializing in light single and multi-engine land airplanes.
I have designed my curriculum to meet FAA standards and maximize your time in the air. I provide individualized flight and ground training. Rental aircraft are available, or I can teach you in your own plane.
If you are an inexperienced or aspiring pilot looking to get started, I can help you begin your journey with a Private pilot license. For those of you looking for more advanced flying, I provide instruction for Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, CFI, CFII, and MEI. I also provide bi-annual flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, high performance, and complex aircraft endorsements.
I am committed to teaching to proficiency and doing my part to ensure safe, knowledgeable, competent, and confident pilots are behind the controls. Since I am not a large flight school, there is greater flexibility in the training that I offer. If you have specific requests, let me know!
I am based primarily out of Twin Oaks Airpark in Hillsboro, Oregon. Twin Oaks Airpark is a family owned airport open to the public that provides all the services you would expect of a flight school. I also provide flight lessons and instruction out of the Portland-Hillsboro Airport, the Portland-Troutdale Airport, and Pearson Airport in Vancouver, Washington.
